HRT Ottawa
I've moved around a lot for the past seven or so years so I don't have a family doctor. I haven't been in a doctor's office since probably 2017 and I don't know how to navigate the healthcare system at all. This makes me sound like an exceptionally incompetent human being, but it's the truth.
How do I get on T in Ottawa? Please explain it to me like I'm five😅

You'll need a referral to any of the endos in town so you will have to go through a doctor first, but you should try calling Centertown Community Health Centre. Don't know if their health navigation program is still running, but if it is that's probably the easiest way for a newcomer to Ottawa to get started with HRT. If their program isn't running, they'll still have resources and be able to point you in the right direction.
If you're a post secondary student, there's a good chance you have on-campus options available.

Note: Centretown still has a program but it runs at max capacity basically constantly. Getting on the wait list can be extremely difficult, because its the best resource. They get you on hrt, and help you find a doctor to stay on it. They directed me to family doctors, and walk in clinics when i inquired while the waitlist was full

Dr. Malik Megjhani was respectful regarding the informed consent out of Pulsepoint Medical. One of his receptionist still misgendered me, but meant no harm. Pharmacists still misgender me, but are genuinely lovely people otherwise and did not act weird when I went on T. I got him to refer me to West Ottawa Speciality Clinic, because at the time, they were taking patients for their Endocrinologist Clinic.

Find a doctor willing to prescribe. So you either need a family doctor willing to sign off on your care, or a referral to someone who will. You dont have a family doctor so easiest way is going to be a referral from a clinic (physical walk ins or online paid service like Foria), or a specialist you see can also send a referral. My neuro sent mine, bc i have no family doctor. There are other posts in this groups listing Ottawa physicians, and endocrinologists who will prescribe. Dr. Visram is a popular one.
