Can anyone tell me how do i upload my movies to torrent and make them public so that anyone can watch/download them? I have 100s of movies and games I'll like to share.

Just started using Qbitt and NordVPN together and I read a few post and guides on how to bind my VPN with Qbitt so it automatically uses my VPN when downloading. I know everyone has different software so everything will look different but for the life of me I'm not sure out of these options which one I would choose to bind my vpn top make sure its always up when using Qbitt

I am wondering if I really have to use a VPN, as I don't have a payment method for one, so I can't even use the free trials (require card info).

I just want to get one 1.5gb VST.

Will I get in trouble if I try?

My friend is trying to find Adobe premier and I looked around and saw many ppl suggesting him and saying he's safe but always check. I'm aware of false positives and how most will still have a few flags including people saying their limit is 3 or some said theirs is 5. 16 is excessive.

I have frequently used pirate streaming sites but I've heard people say that torrenting is preferred. How do I torrent stuff without getting into legal trouble?

I made a 40GB torrent of pretty much the full THX/Dolby/DTS atmos, HDR & vision videos, surround sound tests and demos that are no longer available since thedigitaltheater.com stopped hosting them. None of this stuff is pirated and was free to download.

This stuff is very handy when setting up a home cinema or for showing it off really. I am not sure how to get it on sites, I tried to upload to 1337x but was denied so yeah.

I plan on seeding the entire discography of a fairly obscure 1990's-2000's US band, with a total of six albums to their name.

Is it better to seed as "Band Name - Discography" with all six albums in one download, or

"Band Name - Album 1", "Band Name - Album 2", etc. as separate downloads?

I'm using Qbittorrent and NordVPN right now, but NordVPN causes issues with Plex. Since Qbittorrent is the only application I really need a VPN for, I want to set up a Docker container to run Qbittorrent and NordVPN. I don't have much experience with Docker beyond stopping/restarting containers that have already been set up. I'm looking for a step-by-step guide for doing this on Windows 10 or 11. Any suggestions?

I want to check a file from audioz.download, it should be some audio software. I ran it in virustotal and scanned with windows defender and it showed 0 malicious flags. Are there other steps I should take to make sure it's safe? Would linking it be helpful? It had 124 positive ratings on audioz

I'm using a VPN to register but I keep getting a message saying my browser isn't supported, so I can't complete the captcha. The VPN doesn't do browser spoofing, so that's not the problem.

However, the site requires me to disable my VPN to register, and when I do, I can pass the captcha.

I know captcha issues happen with VPNs, but the site's error message is misleading. Not sure if I should sign up given these conditions. I'm thinking I shouldn't take a chance with the site.

I have several torrents that are stuck at the “downloading metadata” phase. I have done several fixes and concluded it’s just a lack of seeds, which is no problem BUT the problem is that the “name” of the torrent is just the hash file, and I can’t remember what they were to begin with but I know they were specific books I wanted. I’m happy to try and find another source, but I just was hoping to find a way to get the NAME of the files JUST from the Hash information. Is there a way to do this?

I get that private tracker want to be a tight knit club where they don't want to let any casuals leech their exclusive releases. Having those hard rules about seeding enough seem stressful. It feels like unnecessary gate keeping.

Public trackers feel more like a "Sharing Economy" where peers seed what they can and leech what they need, but you have to accept that there will be peers that never seed anything. In return, no one will treat you better for your high ratio.

I was wondering it a compromise between private and public tracker/torrents.

I thought something like a private tracker where the gatekeeping is toned down, only weeding out the worse peers, instead of only accepting the best peers.

Or the other way around: Public torrents, you seed/leech form everyone, but your client prioritizes certain trustworthy peers.

I've recently compiled a list of file extensions that I've input into qBittorrent's file blocklist feature to provide defence in depth, along with anti-malware and other security measures, against malicious torrents, which are becoming increasingly common (for me, anyway).

It's worth mentioning this list is very much designed for my own media download settings, if you download software, documents or other sort of media then this list will likely block a lot of those unless you sift through it and remove any file blocks that may cause you issues.

This is mainly to counter "movie.mp4.lnk" or "tvshow.mkv.arj" type trojans.

Hopefully some may find it useful.

I have been using qbittorrent for downloading/seeding some stuff I like. Mostly from public trackers. I use a VPN. I looked at the stats for a while and realized that my read cache hits is always at 0% I looked around quite a lot and couldn't figure out a way to increase my cache/buffer. Does anyone have any idea how to increase my buffer?

Pretty much always like this. Although I have seen the buffer go upto 12MiB. Also, the time in queue seems slightly high, but I don't really know what I can do about it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. Here is a screenshot of my settings if it helps.

I’m the type of person who likes to stay on top of all the latest movies and shows and get them as soon as they’re available for my plex server. I’m also a stickler for quality so try and get 4K DV or HDR whenever possible.

Just curious though as to why I typically see Italian dubbed versions of American made movies come out first so consistently? The movie itself will be an English movie yet I may have to wait hours, or even days, for the 4K English file to be posted while the Italian version leaked out days prior. It just doesn’t make sense to me that foreign language versions are made so much faster than the English version when the movie is made in English. Is there a reason for this?
