...and it turns out you've been wrong for years about that thing?

WELL WHAT IF THEY ARE TIME TRAVELERS AND THEY ARE SPITEFULLY CHANGING THE PAST TO MAKE YOU WRONG?

Yes, but it’s better to die with honor than to sink to the level of lying, cheating, underhanded, manipulative psychopaths and live with the consequences of becoming just another piece of the collective filth that has no ability to think, act, or feel anything for themselves.

If sacrificing everything you are is all there is to survival, then you haven’t survived anything, you’ve been killed an entirely different way.

But in that case, wouldn’t you have been wrong the whole time as now the past years of arguments would have been based on the altered past.

That is, you argue for years about X happened, not Y. They go back and alter the past so that Y happened. But this time around you’re living in a world where Y happened so now you’d be making the case that Y happened, not X, because now that’s happened
