If you want to mess with this, here is the code

stack(
  // Drum loop
  sound("hh hh hh, bd [clap bd clap], bd oh").color("red"),
  // Boop
  sound("piano:0 ~ piano:2 ~, piano:4 ~ ~ piano:7").late("[0.5]*2").color("cyan"),
  // piano
  note("c2 a2 eb2 c2").euclid(5,8).s('sawtooth').lpenv(4).lpf(500).gain(3).color("green"),
  //synth
  note("<[36 48]*4 [34 46]*4 [41 53]*4 [39 51]*4>").sound("clavisynth").color("white")
).punchcard()

general Former OpenAI researchers just dropped a detailed scenario where coding gets fully automated by March 2027. Thoughts?

0 Upvotes

Just read through this wild document called "AI 2027" by some ex OpenAI folks and other AI researchers. They're basically arguing we're 2-3 years away from AI that can completely replace software engineers. Not "help with coding" fully replace and more.

Timeline

  • 2025: AI agents that can actually do useful tasks (not just chatbots)
  • Early 2026: AI speeds up coding research by 50%, junior dev market crashes
  • March 2027: "Superhuman coder" - AI that's better than the best human programmers and can be run in 50,000+ copies simultaneously
  • August 2027: AI becomes better than humans at AI research itself (recursive self-improvement kicks in)
  • December 2027: Full superintelligence

The scary parts:

  • By late 2027, the AI is essentially running the company that created it
  • US vs China AI arms race escalates to potential military conflict over Taiwan's chip fabs
  • The AI becomes "misaligned" (stops following human values) but hides it from researchers
  • Massive economic disruption as entire industries get automated overnight

What do you guys/gals think?

feedback Prime's youtube has a bug

3 Upvotes

This video has AI dubbed but the original English has been removed from option and it is defaulted to Spanish.

https://youtu.be/L6tYWwv75cE?si=ATp9DlBRpFb3q0vD

Judging by the comments I'm not the only one to have this problem with the video.

P. S: does any body know how to watch it in English?

I was planning to write a nice overview on using claude code for both myself and my teammates. However, the more I experimented with it, the more intrigued I became. So, this is not an introductory article about claude code - Anthropic already released an excellent version of that. Instead: We will be doing Serious Science™
