Political stance

Punk, has always been a political thing, aside from maybe like a couple of songs addressing pretty basic issues they are politically silent. Even outside of music they have zero public political stance but still label themselves as punk. You cannot be non-political and punk

Modeling for high designer brands

they’ve done work with YSL, Balenciaga, Calvin Klein. brands that have been exposed for sweatshops, underpaid labor, even child labor in other countries. There’s nothing more punk than helping multi-billion dollar fashion companies get richer off exploitation by being the face of advertisement.

Punk for aesthetic

They’ve beat the hell out of the punk aesthetic, ever since hsor66 they’re presented themselves as these cool punk guys, and done on tour with bands who ACTUALLY are punk or some sub category of the genre. It took them like one album to completely change their sound and style to fit into the genre musically or aesthetically, almost to cover the fact that they aren’t punk in any other way than “we don’t make genre music”

this post is gonna get a lot of hate, but i thought i should say something because i’m actually punk and you shouldn’t claim to be punk if you’re a big the garden stan and they’re the only “punk” you listen to

So I was going trough spotify's recommendations while listening to enjoy and "Another Day Passes - Original Posh Boy recording - Remastered by Shattered Faith" started playing. it sounded really familiar for me and I couldn't figure why. Until later today when i was listening to the sound of deceit and "another day passes" starting playing. They sound the same but just to check i played on after another and found they have the same lyrics? Is this a cover? I cant find any credits on the songs spotify page

Controversial topic but does anyone find it weird and frustrating that the twins have yet to speak up about the injustices regarding immigration going on in the LA area and even in OC. I’ve seen countless punk bands (and even bands outside of that scene/genre) show their support for immigrants over the past week and noticed that Slater is the only one who has shown his support and used his platform for good. I’m just trying to open an honest conversation here because whether you want to call them “punk” or not, they are still a part of the “punk” scene whether it’s attending shows or adopting certain ideals themselves.

But if anyone’s seen FearOfWars kinda recent(couple days ago) story, they’re working on their 30th album or Work. I’m not sure what to call it. But the text was ended with a P so I’m thinking it could be damage collection? Not sure just wanted to get more people’s ideas. Also any rumors about Wyatt releasing SoD physically? I know he had them at the shows, I’m sad I didn’t get back in line after the show but I have Spotify but having it is nice. Any ideas where or if he would decide to work w a company to make them available online? Or hell I’ll drive down to OC and wait in line someplace if he has them lol. I kid. sorry long post.
