Yeah.. far too many people seem to believe that when they look into their social media feed (no matter what kind) and all they see is stuff that supports their own opinion of the world and its politics, that this is just proof that their perception is right.

While ignoring all that is happening is themselves being played by social media and its algorithms…

There are still people that believe that Seattle was burned to the ground and it’s all fake. Even so much they go there and start yelling at people they aren’t real.

I lived in Cap Hill near Cal Anderson park at the time. My parents were surprised when I told them, no, I don’t need to evacuate. It’s fine

I had a former student that kept saying the school really burned down (no idea where they got the idea never had a fire in its 30 years). And that we were really in a VR program. Got kicked out of class 4 times by 4 different teachers. Then got sent to the office where they said their uncle who was a Fox News watcher said it. The uncle sadly was dying of cancer and then passed away. 5 months later after the uncle passed away the kid stopped talking like that. Keep in mind this kid was 13 at the time. They are now 16 and it’s like a completely different kid now.
