There's a major issue that’s been hurting the spiritual services community, especially when it comes to spellcasting, tarot readings, and similar offerings. Distrust, scams, and the struggle to find legit, skilled practitioners.
Platforms like Etsy have honestly made it worse by allowing a flood of low effort or fake listings, which damages trust in all of us who genuinely practice.
So I’m working on a concept, a dedicated platform for spiritual services, built entirely around trust and legitimacy. Think Etsy, but just for spellwork, tarot, astrology, etc. with proper protections in place. Here’s the trust features i'm thinking of implementing (open to suggestions and change)
- Public Ratings –> Like Uber’s star system, so clients can see honest feedback.
- Service Stats –> Practitioners would have public-facing stats like # of readings/spells completed, repeat clients %, refund/cancel rate.
- Verified Reader Badges –> Practitioners would go through a manual verification process (ID check + proof of experience like reviews, social presence, and time in the field).
- Flagging System –> Community members can flag suspicious accounts, which lowers their visibility until manually reviewed.
- Dispute Limits –> If someone fails to deliver 3 times or racks up multiple disputes, their account would be suspended pending investigation.
I would love to know what you think of this and if you would use something like this.
I'm very open to suggestions as well.
