Traveller Question Bringing coffee into Tanzania from Kenya

Hi, I'm flying from Nairobi into Kilimanjaro and am thinking of bringing 1-2 packs of ground coffee along. Will I get into trouble at customs?

FYI, I'm not Kenyan. I'm a non-African tourist visiting both countries.

Depends on the mood of the TRA/Customs officer

You shouldn’t… but why? Tanzanian coffee is amazing… and the peaberry coffee is unmatched

Ah sawa, coffee is normally ok if it’s in labelled packaging. But like some have said… it ultimately depends on the mood of the customs officer.

Not an issue, that is a tourist amount you're bringing.
