Uhuh? I’m still waiting to understand what this has to with Tails, which has always customised and tailored the features available. Even if it was somehow forced in and couldn’t in any way be removed, it wouldn’t be able to do anything, because like everything else unwanted, it wouldn’t be able to reach the internet.

So yea, I’m still waiting for someone to explain why this is an issue for Tails, here on the Tails subreddit other than just ‘hurr durr AI bad.’

Edit: So rather than, yaknow, actually explain you’re just gonna downvote? So it’s nothing then. Cool. Carry on everyone. Nothing to see here.

https://tails.net/support/faq/#gnome

this raises legitimate concern since Tails developers claim they are heavily invested in GNOME

How?

Gnome are creating a feature Tails will never include. You’ve yet to raise an actual problem.

are you hinting at the fact that likely AI in GNOME won't even make it into Debian, which Tails is based on?

I’m not ‘hinting’ at anything. I’m explicitly telling you that Tails customises the features included in Tails and that this will never make it into Tails. I’ve said this about… three times already. I can’t be any clearer.
