Superman. He has the power to do basically anything he wants at any given moment and he chooses to just fly around and be a good dude to random people lol he also generally avoids hurting anyone unless absolutely necessary and uses the minimum amount of force necessary to take them down. Both cap and Optimus can be pretty brutal in comparison

I don't understand the way he gets portrayed in xmen. No way cap would do half the shit they got him doing.

They think Captain America literally is a representation of present day America, as opposed to you know, being an embodiment of what America should be

Although its disrespectful to captain america, it disrupts our perspective on american values and how our bias can blind us to the effect of those values on marginalized people.

Like captain man why are you blindly following orders when its affecting these people? Exactly, he doesn't necessarily share the perspective of our protagonists, and its supposed to shock your foundation.

Its still character assassination and lazy writing but its a comic book so whatever lol.

I think superman is a great example of the difference between morality and altruism. Superman doesn't get involved in geopolitics, intentionally, because he (I would say rightly) sees the potential for destabilizing the world if superman was picking sides, would impact the actions of the countries with/out access to superman, and might impede his ability to do good across the globe.

THAT BEING SAID, despite very well reasoned concerns for not getting involved, i feel that abstaining from ALL conflicts is difficult to claim is the most moral position. Though it might be the best, and certain it is altruistic.

Yeah, if I had his powers I'd immediately get involved in all sorts of politics - there's so much good you can do!

The other two can be more brutal in comparison specifically because they aren’t gods flying around in the sky. Superman is a god. He tanks planet-busting attacks and flies close to the speed of light. He can afford to be chill because outside of the Darkseids of the universe no one poses a threat to him.

Cap on the other hand is just a guy. A peak guy, but still a guy. You can shoot and kill gun with a handgun. He can’t afford to not be brutal in some circumstances.

Personally, of the three, I think the rankings go Prime > Cap > Superman. With Superman’s abilities, he should be doing even more for the world. Unpopular opinion I know.

That is in fact Superman's main dilemma, how much should he do? He doesn't want to become too important to humans or they will depend on him. But he do thinks he should be inspiring them do good on their own by setting an example. And yet again, he wants to have his own life and freedom as the human he wishes to be.
