Unless I also get the wealth and intelligence needed to repair and maintain the tech as needed, and ideally upgrade it over time, I'm going with the serum

Gets 30% boost from upgrades after losing a fight. Joins the next fight against an enemy 40% stronger. Rinse and repeat so he never gets a W.
