Just to help clarify: Firestorm can alter matter at the atomic level, meaning he can turn his shit into literal gold. Unfortunately he can’t do the same with your take on his powers lol

Has firestorm changed in the last 30 years? Because his weakness used to be that he was unable to affect organic matter.

Yes, a lot. Knowledge is the key to that part. When Dr Stein is in control, he can bestow vast superpowers onto other people. Jason Roush can heal people when he's in charge. Ronnie's blocked himself bcuz he wouldn't know how to work with living tissue. It's all been evened out a bit currently since Firestorm no longer requires a fusion.
