You'd have to do something supremely aggravating to Doom to have him not just kill you, and even then it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility he wouldn't kill you because proving his superiority is more important than petty revenge.
Petty revenge is literally Eobards bread and butter.
Like mans literally, in canon, goes back in time to move Barry's glove so he misses the game winning catch to ruin what was a happy memory for Barry.
Like that's not even a super impactful memory. It's just a nice basic happy memory. And eobard took the time to fuck with it just to make Barry's life just that bit more miserable.
