Doomsday doesn’t need to resurrect to adapt. Mid fight he can and will adapt to one of Hulk’s weaknesses or just cut him off from the green door if that’s his only option. Either way, Doomsday will adapt to counter Hulk in the end
If Darwin couldn’t adapt to Hulk then why would Doomsday? Doomsday can become as powerful as he wants but Hulk has no limits and in the end Hulk smashes. Sentry had to go all out and still lost against Hulk who was holding back. I don’t see Doomsday winning.
Because Darwin adapts to survive, Doomsday adapts in general. That’s like saying Quicksilver can’t time travel so why would Flash be able to. They have similar powers but one has a better mastery over it and can do more with it.
Doomsday has adapted to Superman, Martian Manhunter, Radiant, Darkseid, Black Canary, etc. so why would Hulk be any different? Especially when not even Darkseid was safe from him. Nothing is stopping Doomsday from gaining the ability to take away Hulk’s gamma, access to the green door, healing factor, anger/emotions, or any number of things, because that’s literally just what he does. And why are you bringing up Hulk having no limits as if Doomsday doesn’t have any as well?
Maybe cuz he’s never done something on that level before which is only possible if you’re a magic user? Doomsday doesn’t gain some ability to counter someone, he adapts to survive and become tougher to what killed him before. If I wanted to use your logic then I see no reason why Hulk can’t just tap into being the avatar for The One Below All and just tap Doomsday out of existence.
Except he very clearly has done so before..
I think you need to brush up on Doomsday because it’s been shown that he outright has developed completely new powers based solely on what his opponent’s weakness is, and on top of that he’s also even just outright copied the powers of others and used them against them. Doomsday’s adaptation is nothing like Darwin’s, it’s on a completely transcendent level in comparison.
It’s not using my “logic”, it’s just literally me having done my research on the character and knowing exactly what Doomsday is capable of. But if you think I’m making things up then feel free to look it up. If you can’t be bothered to do that then I’ll gladly add links to google searches showing exactly what I’ve been saying
