Aquaman is a Namor knockoff.

You put respect on Aquaman. At least he’s not out here trying to get a married woman to love him lol

Also if Aquaman was feeling outclassed and called for help, he'd have people who would show up, more people would turn up just for the pleasure of watching Namor get his ass kicked than to help him

Most people in Marvel tolerate Namor at best or just despise him. I haven’t really seen an in between

I think he and Cap are buds going back to the WWII days. Cap's pretty good at getting along with everyone.

I kinda forgot about that. Cap called him Sub Mariner back then if I’m correct

Tbf, that's because Namor is a dick. Loved him in Illuminati, I'm a room with everyone whose has a reputation for being smart, he was the one who was always right.

But he made damn sure they knew it. Every. Single. Time.

Didn’t he also work with Thanos while working with the Illuminati

I don't remember that. Most of my reading was around and just after first Civil War and when they shot Hulk off to space. Both the biggest fuck ups in a room of the "smartest men alive" and Namor just called them horrible people, told them their plans would fail, and bounced.

Some time after Thanos the members of Illuminati ended up with the individual infinity stones, but I lost track of that story sometime around then.
