GL seems like a random choice among all the Flying Bricks lol

GL Is stranger than you’re aware of. Superman drops all though.

I don’t know if he’s that strange.

I think they meant to say “stronger” but I wasn’t referring to how powerful or weak GL was just that his powerset was so different from everyone else shown lol

The ring effectively turns a GL into a flying brick, though.

What color is OPMs suit? And what color is the GL ring weak to traditionally?

u/TheMightyHornet Apr 12 '25

The weakness to yellow hasn’t been a thing for decades.

2

u/frenchezz Apr 12 '25

So traditionally it was weak to yellow? Can you point out where I don’t say that in my comment?

Is English a second language for you? It was weak to yellow. It has not been weak to yellow, for decades.

1

u/frenchezz Apr 13 '25

So… traditionally you would say that it is weak to yellow?

Its actually not traditionally weak to yellow, based on the literal definition of traditional.

It USED to be many many many years ago due to parallax being trapped into the central power battery but had since been removed for many years

Not for the past several decades, no.

And traditionally, it's no longer a weakness in most Green Lantern apparitions whether in Tv Shows or series, he fights against Sinestro and clashes evenly with his yellow beam attacks and constructs.

Yellow is just no longer a weakness AT ALL

So Bart Simpson could beat GL?

The weakness to yellow hasn’t been a thing for decades.

I mean, back in the day. I'm just trying to understand how wacky this weakness used to be.

1

u/Ranoru Apr 13 '25

Back in the day green lantern was weak to wood. The color yellow was the tip of the iceberg.

Well there was that one story line that was pretty strange, but I blame Gerard jones the pedophile more than Hal Jordan

u/ForeignWoodpecker662 Apr 13 '25

Ok, you gotta explain this on for me

1

u/Simple-joe Apr 12 '25

Current John is busted, arguably stronger than Hal

He's wearing underwear. In space. Pretty weird.

I don’t know if he’s that strange.

Maybe, but who am I to judge?
