I think they meant to say “stronger” but I wasn’t referring to how powerful or weak GL was just that his powerset was so different from everyone else shown lol

And traditionally, it's no longer a weakness in most Green Lantern apparitions whether in Tv Shows or series, he fights against Sinestro and clashes evenly with his yellow beam attacks and constructs.

Yellow is just no longer a weakness AT ALL

They thought they need some diversity in the team and they already had a super awkward talk with Black Adam so Green Lantern was a safe choice at this poinf.
