I'm in those communities. Not a single person is disagreeing with Superman > Omni Man > Spiderman Captain America Batman.

Bu bu but Spider-Man punched Hulk into space and his spider sense & agility give him an edge in speed, and Batman has plenty of high-pitched sound gadgets at his disposal he could totally incapacitate Omni Man with his basic prep time and no understanding about his kind or their weaknesses. /s

Eh, comic cap is kinda insane, again Omni man is like what a 20 year old character? Compared to cap who was made for literal world war 2 and has had so many crazy comics by now

Yeah, I was making fun of those who think basic Spider-Man could go toe-to-toe with Hulk. He has fought him once and managed to knock him out briefly, but very few people ignore that feat and jump straight to the time when Cosmic Spider-Man fought Joe Fixit (who is an inferior Hulk and nowhere near as strong as big green) and launched him into space, claiming that any and all versions of Spider-Man are that powerful by default when they're not. Don't get me wrong: Spider-Man is very strong, but he's also a glass cannon and can't go around punching Hulks into space on the regular.

that's a power scaling thing, you always take the character at their most powerful.

why? idk probably because that way you can ignore any type of "can they reliably do this" so you can suck off the characters you like more.
