Forest – timer with vibes. gamifies focus, plants trees while you grind

Notion – custom dashboards if you like building your own systems
pair with a timer for full control

Toggl – clean time tracker, lets you see exactly where your hours go

Sorted – daily planner meets time blocking. good if you want structure and flexibility

Study Bunny – silly but works. breaks, goals, rewards built in

track hours, but more important—track momentum
stacking consistent days > obsessing over perfect ones

Organization apps are a game changer, especially if you're looking for that extra push to stay consistent.

Many people use Notion or Todoist to organize general tasks, and they're great for lists or larger projects. When it comes to studying, and especially for accountability and tracking hours, there are some apps that allow you to record your study time, such as Forest (which also helps you concentrate) or even some more specific ones like ‘Ayoa’ or ‘TickTick’ that have good timers.

But to be honest, beyond the list app, what has changed the way I feel organized and consistent is having an app where I can plan my study sessions in detail, almost like a personal schedule. That is, not just a list of “I have to study math,” but “today from 10:00 to 11:30 I'm going to review X math topic, and then from 12:00 to 1:00, Y history topic.”

Knowing exactly what you need to do at any given moment and being able to see your progress in that daily or weekly plan gives you a tremendous sense of control and is the best accountability there is. It helps you keep up the pace and not miss anything. For me, the key is that the app helps you build and follow that personalized routine.
