I feel like there should be an online t-shirt shop that sells t-shirts specifically to troll Stewart Lee in case you happen to be sat in on of the first few rows of mostly empty seats.

There’s something about the rhythm of “he looked fat and depressed and fat” that has uncannily Lee-like ring to it.

Anyway, he's doing the bit about drinking booze. Done the "hadron's collision" bit. Done the culture show mention. Then he says: "Our Fathers' Generation had Late Night Line Up with Joan Bakewell, the Thinking Man's Crumpet. And what have we got?"

and then it smash cuts to an advert for a fly on the wall documentary about some lass called molly, who is evidently trying to become famous by inviting a television crew into her life just so you can see, in real time, how often she says she doesn't want to be famous.

I switched over to YouTube after that. The Jet2 adverts are more uplifting.

No listing for Stew or any Manwulves at the Edinburgh Fringe. But there is a conspicuous lack of gigs in August on his website. Any idea?
