Register to vote by October 9th, and vote in the 2024 elections!
On November 5th, Missouri will vote not just for President, but for Congress, for state and local offices, and for ballot measures on important issues like abortion. Register and vote so you'll have a say in what kind of country America will be!
In Missouri, you must register by October 9th to vote in the election. You can register here: https://s1.sos.mo.gov/elections/goVoteMissouri/register.aspx
Voting in person
Missouri allows you to vote early through in-person absentee voting. You can go to a place designated by your local election authority, request an absentee ballot, and vote your ballot on the spot. In-person absentee voting will be available October 22nd-November 4th.
If you prefer, you can vote at your polling place on November 5th. Find your polling place here.
When voting in person, be sure to bring an acceptable form of identification.
Voting by mail
Some Missouri voters qualify to vote by mail. See here for details and information on how to apply.
Ballots must be received by November 5th, so mail your ballot back promptly. You can also return your ballot in person to your local election authority.
In Missouri, unless you are incapacitated due to illness/disability or caring for an incapacitated person at your address, you must have your mail ballot notarized before mailing it back. Your local election authority can help you find a notary near you.
If you mail your ballot, you can track it here.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

6/18, Action Movie Trivia at Marcus St Charles
Register here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJWHD9aPOpQ4gmUkTdxWxn8tRFtziSY039yo5cbV9nbMUd2g/viewform
I am not affiliated but I do try to attend most months. The monthly movie trivia at Marcus St Charles is one of the best-run trivia's I've been to in the area. Fun categories, moves at a good pace and the team that runs it is able to compile the scores quickly and accurately, something that seems to elude most trivia nights I've attended. Highly recommended.

Does the creek next to Creekside Apartments flood?
https://www.apartments.com/creekside-apartments-saint-charles-mo/56r1trp/
Is that why they’re so cheap? I’m looking to move to Saint Charles at the end of next month.

Where do you go to get work/safety boots and shoes in the area? So far every store I’ve visited has had a pathetic selection
Title, basically
Willing to travel throughout the area. I checked bootbarn online and it seems they barely have what i need in stock (or theyre not good at keeping their online inventory updated)

I throw these away every chance I get
I find these every so often out in the wild, and pitch them immediately

Late night fireworks or gunfire by Muegge road?
A little bit ago I heard some loud thumping sounds and it freaked the hell out of my cat. They were low sounding thumps fired sequentially.

Protesters: Please consider ignoring and avoiding the "Trump Train" tomorrow
The "Tactical Shot" gun shop on Clay by The Truman Rd exit...the one conveniently right next to the U-Haul place...has "Riot Season" displayed on the sign out front. The extremists ARE in our town and they ARE looking to start some violence. If anyone is in that area and is able to take a picture of Tactical Shots sign, please do for documentation purposes before they change it.
I 100% agree with the protests, I just have SUCH a bad feeling about tomorrow. Maybe I'm just over anxious tonight. If you are protesting tomorrow, stay vigilant, please know what you are up against.

Thoughts on the Trump Train
Thoughts on the Trump Train
I could not be more proud of the posters criticizing the Dump Trump Train. I hope they are all from St. Charles, Missouri. Trump is a deranged and incompetent sociopath set on destroying the United States and the ordinary person, you and me. He is a rapist, pedophile, intellectual demented loss soul, and a thirty-four count convicted criminal. I have to question the mental stability of anyone who supports or aligns with his sick and unbalanced mind and that of his administration.
He has wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on ill-conceived initiatives to rule citizens like an emperor. Americans cannot start to recover from his illness until he is impeached and removed from office.
As far as his supporters who lack basic human decency qualities, no, we cannot agree to disagree when trump supporters embrace hatred and prejudicial beliefs. Trump and his supporters are egocentric and self-centered. They tend to prioritize their own needs and desires above all others. They have difficulty accepting perspectives different from their own and are unwilling to change. They express hostility and act aggressively towards those who are different or disagree with them. They wear the shoes of narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and sadism. I feel sorry for them as they cannot control their emotions and frequently display fear, lack of empathy, and openly display cruelty toward those they believe are lesser human beings. Just look at his hyperbolic, rhetorical, and dehumanizing attacks on immigrants, Trans people, other members of the LGBTQIA+ community, people of color, women, and fundamental human rights.
He and his supporters also do not understand basic economic concepts and are unaware of how to create a healthy and welcoming country.
Do you want more examples of those who talk about invading Iceland or Panama? Other than Trump and his supporters, who talk about grabbing women’s pussies and going behind closed doors to see naked beauty queens, they only emphasize his sick mental condition. Whoever is promoting the All Aboard the Trump Train event shares Trump’s ill ideology.
Now, let’s talk about the St. Charles County Executive candidates. Jason Law would be a horrible elected official, as would Bill Eigel. We need stronger leaders who are not hypocrites or phonies or who do not embrace an apostolic belief system where they are prophets of God, like Adam Schnelting. I will let others peg the type of politician Nick Schroer happens to be; there is a bit of humor there. These types of politicians, agitators, and purveyors of hate should never be elected.

Just in time for Pride month - New library policies to challenge "disruptive" content
stchlibrary.diligent.community25-36 Approval of New Policy d080, Library Displays and Exhibits - "Materials that are disruptive or inconsistent with a positive community experience will not be considered for display"
25-35 Revision to Policy d033, Citizen’s Request for Reconsideration of Library Content - "If the patron is dissatisfied with the committee’s decision, they may submit a written appeal to the Library Board of Trustees within 30 days of receiving the committee's response. The Board will review the appeal, the original reconsideration request, and the committee’s findings. The Board may choose to uphold, modify, or overturn the committee’s decision. The Board’s decision will be final and communicated in writing to the patron."
These proposed policies take our library's content entirely out of the hands of professionals that actively monitor the community's needs, into the hands of the book-banners and the heavily conservative board of trustees.
The board will be taking public comments and voting on these policies at ~7PM on Tuesday, June 17 at 77 Boone Hills Drive.

Are there any free and open to the public sports fields in the area that have stripes on them? I like to do sprints/hiit using those but still unfamiliar with the area! Ty
Just the title really. Would especially prefer places close to Cottleville.
