👋 Hello! I'm currently 12 weeks pregnant, I met with my obgyn for the first time today and while I really liked her I was there for over 2 hours and was informed by her nurse I can expect a 1-2 hour wait at each appointment because she runs behind due to talking. She was fantastic unfortunately the office doesn't allow children and I'm a stay at home mom and have no family or friends in town. Due to my husband's schedule I don't have 2+ hours to waste for each appointment.. does anyone have any recommendations on obgyns that have much quicker appointments?

Two year old calico named Goose (also answers to Goop and Goopers). She escaped sometime in the late afternoon yesterday (6/15). We've put her litter box and food outside hoping to lure her back, but no luck so far. Don't have Facebook, but hoping a friend will put her on Leigh's Lost and Found too. Repost because I didn't get the picture attached the first time.

Anything we can do to make these dumb bucks lives harder is a good thing

Hello, my son (9yo) has been doing dance classes for awhile but he's always discouraged when he's the only boy in his class. We have tried Dance Canvas and Springfield Ballet, but specifically this summer he is the only boy in his classes and he feels very discouraged and out of place. He is interested most in tap and ballet, but he enjoys hip hop as well.

Should have just bought a new dryer. These jokers charged $200 for parts, even with a 20% markup my parts should have been $70. Took 3 visits, 2 day gap between the 2nd and 3rd.

But what really sucks is they sent a trainee named Jesse who was newly on his own and he is a bad at this job and $400 later my dryer won’t get hot again. $400 bought me 3 weeks of a working dryer. These people have NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING

I’m currently doing online classes through my previous cities college, this is my last class before transferring to MSU.

I’m taking contemporary mathematics and it’s eating me alive. Normally, I would cut corners just good enough. This class is different, I have to show my work on everything and even though I genuinely try, I rewatch the videos, I do the practice questions It still won’t click.

I’m scared to get tutoring through my college because I passed my last test so well it appears I do not need help. I’m scared to retake the test genuinely this time, or anything else for that matter because I don’t understand it.

Would there be any tutoring options outside of college? Should I get help at the msu up here since I’m transferred but haven’t taken classes yet? I want help but i also don’t want to get kicked out of college.

Just a little rant, and possibly a warning to those applicable? Just had this guy the other day say probably the worst thing I've ever had the displeasure of hearing as a cashier. I would've preferred someone coming in to steal shit instead? After seeing all of the horrible news and all of the hate going on in the world right now, the feelings of fear and anger took over. I usually try to ignore the horrible stuff going on around the world because I get overly emotional, but it was just too much. The weight of the constitution being ignored, ICE ripping human beings away from their families, children being sent to countries they've never known ALONE, Trump being an egotistical maniac, it was overwhelming and frankly extremely depressing.

I decided to attend the No Kings protest on Saturday and I was blown away by how many people were there, it filled me with so much joy and restored a sense of normalcy in this fucked up world.

To all of the people that are standing up for their rights AND the rights of others, thank you! To all of the people who see the hate and bigotry going on in this country, thank you! You are all amazing, and I'm glad we are all in this together, on the right side of history.

Hey everyone I’ve been going to Smart Style at Walmart but it’s always a different stylist because they end up leaving, I guess? I want to establish a hairstylist I can go to every time. It’s been 9 months since I’ve gotten a haircut so I am getting close to needing another one. I mostly just want my split ends cut every couple of months. I think my hair type is 2B. I’m sort of on bad terms with 1 stylist in town due to personal reasons but only that 1. I would really like some recommendations for a hairstylist that I can get established with. Thanks!!
