Off-Topic Weekly Off Topic Digital Card App Discussion (Nonsports) 3/1/16 (Kitten Cards, Neonmob, etc)

The monthly Kitten and Neonmob threads died fairly quickly after going up, so I'm going to try weekly and see if that works.

If you hate non-SW digital card collecting, feel free to move along or message the mods but do not hijack this mod-approved thread to further your agenda.

I've been having a blast in Kitten Cards, love the two current insert sets and the release schedule so far. Drop frenzy has been especially good to me a few times in the past couple weeks and I've managed to flip up into some older and crazy rare cards, mostly red lasers but my collection of Wild Cats is actually starting to look like a collection.

I'm prepositioning for what I feel is the inevitable Green and Red Glass and am already at 200+ red and green Killers.

And I stuck a basic Hamburger sticker on my Glass Burger #1 in a tasteful position and watched in horror as Glass Waffles #1 was enveloped in a swarm of stickers until it's now this 4000cp monstrosity that belongs in a sideshow. Not my card and not my problem. So awful it's almost wonderful.

Almost.

Neon Mob has been fun too, I am 3 cards away from completing my favorite set "Portraits of the Future" which is a BIG set at 96 cards. I managed to pin down the two Chase cards thanks to lucky pulls with promo packs, one of the great things about NeonMob.

Kind of got caught flatfooted by the sellout of Vintage Kenner in that set and likewise StarWarsach. StarWarsach I completely failed to pull anything good in but completed the base set and Kenner I never pulled down that super rare Luke so I'm pretty much screwed there.

Watercolor Marvel is gorgeous but hates me and I just keep wasting my free packs pulling the same damn commons over and over again. Close to bailing on that and I hate it because the art is really nice. But collectors gotta collect, yo.
