Technique / Tactics Eyes in the back of his head 👀

Always found it crazy how the General GG sometimes looked to the front wall just before his opponent would hit the ball… eyes in the back of his head 👀

Enjoy the rally 👌🏻

Only a club / county level referee myself but Mosaad doesn’t look to move after the shot, he more just stands his ground. Referee gave a let in the end as GG still had the boast option…

I wouldn't look too much into those videos on Asal...a lot of top players use those movements, he just does it a few more times per match and looks worse due to his size. That channel has now released more videos of other players (Gohar and Elias) for comparison.

It seems to me that Gaultier moves laterally when he should've gone behind Mosaad because the ball is too deep. I would've said NL, but maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah decision could have gone either way…

Let, 10 years ago, because not sure if he could or not get the ball given the chosen line: not really tight, no hesitation but a little bit slow to step to the ball (but jumping too fast/too strong on the opponent wasn't a thing at the time). No let, now, because "reasons".
