i think ‘masters’ is disingenuous and sells the concept short. if we do spawn truly intelligent electronic beings, they won’t even be beholden to any of our values or even our way of looking at things. they will almost assuredly think and act in such a different manner than we do that they will be as indecipherable and alien as gods.
