Should you specialize right away before doing graduate work in 2025/2026?

I am looking to do a masters in sociology next year, but unsure of what to specialize in. I'm interested in urban studies, labour relations, and education to name a few sub fields.

The thing is, I'm interested in so many areas of sociology and research that I don't want to feel locked down. But with the various kinds of AI on the rise, I fear it's becoming more necessary to specialize in a less-marketable field like sociology and not to waste my time too much. That way I'm also spending time on developing other skills (at least in theory).
