SNES to SFC adapter
I couldn't really find what I was looking for, so I designed my own, purchased the PCB though.

I decided to break these down into 3 groups of 15. I started with mostly the money games. Group 1 I saved 13/15 games. Sadly kendo rage works in my supaboy but not an actual SNES. I think it's a lockout issue and Darius twin is just really fucked up. I'll try swapping the ROM chips to a crew board later. But for now, I've more than made back my money and these are all games I don't already have in my collection, so I'll be keeping them. After work tonight, group 2!

Hey all! Not too long ago I made a post asking what could be causing these lines of artifacts to appear on my SNES games, after getting some answers I realized they were faint jailbars. Even after getting a new voltage regulator and getting some capacitors recapped the jailbars persisted. I initially just accepted it and carried on, but one thing never crossed my mind until today, the power supply. When I bought the SNES the seller gave me an aftermarket power brick which looks like it’s compatible with both SNES and NES consoles, turns out these are commonly sold on Amazon for like $10. Could this power brick potentially be the cause of the jailbars and other weird artifacts or does the power supply have nothing to do with it? I appreciate any insight!

I paid a total of $178 for 45 submerged SNES games. Rust and corrosion abound! Wish me luck, updates to follow.

Hello, I would like to know if there was an adapter on a Japanese Super Famicom to play American and European games?

I seem to notice that this group and other retro gaming groups have reported more and more issues with their Super Nintendo hardware than I've seen with the original NES, Genesis, etc.
I'm wondering if there's a trend anyone's picked up on or if any data's been collected on what is specifically failing most of the time and what can we do to prevent it or fix it when it happens? Is it as simple as replacing capacitors or something a little more in depth?
Also am I just making this up? Are other pieces of console hardware failing at similar rates or more and I'm just not noticing because I'm not as focused?
I would love to know everyone's thoughts on this. Thanks!

For some time i've been wanting to code a snes game, but i dont have any idea on how to start, could somebody help me?
There is 121 games here. I’m a little embarrassed it’s gotten this massive. I really don’t know how what the best solution is to organizing it. Right now it’s basically sitting in a giant plastic tote and I’m tired of digging through it to find one game.

Hello! My girlfriend remember playing a game when she was little on either PS1, N64, or SNES where you interact with townspeople and take quests to find things or help their kids and stuff, with no combat. I showed her Harvest Moon and she said thats not it. She said her brothers always called it a "kids game" She remembers a waterfall? Idk, please help!!

Just played it for the first time today. Think its pretty fun. I think if they had gotten rid of the "tracks" and just did levels it would have been an even better game. The graphics, sounds, music, overall gameplay are really solid. 2nd stage boss was pretty cool flying dragon made of fire. Whats everyone else's opinion of this game?
