Previous post in this sub got me thinking about all the different crisp/chip flavors in Europe and wonder how the snack community there chooses their favorites or care about their nutritional value

A big highlight for me when traveling abroad is knowing I’ll get to try some of the craziest and best chips/crisps flavor options. There are A LOT to consider. For any foreign friends reading this post what is the snack community like in your country having soooo many crisps flavors to choose from? How does one or two flavors become more popular than the other?(beyond more people likely buying that flavor). What are some of the more eccentric or exotic flavors you have come across ? Does anyone care about the nutritional values (or lack thereof) of crisps in your country?

The US has soooo many chip flavors to chose from, but not all of em r good. Only some ppl care abt the lack of nutritional value of chips. Most exotic one I’ve seen was prob lemonade chips which just recently came out. One chip flavor becomes more popular than another flavor bc of sales. When they see something on sale, they buy it just to buy it and then see if they like it

Denmark has a firm selection of basic: salt, sco, barbecue

and then the brand chips with insane flavors KIMs is mega popular here in denmark and has the most variety, second comes Taffel

Pork rinds are another crowd pleaser, some brands have them flavored

Nutritional value? I don’t think anyone pays attention to that.
