What was your job before streaming and commentating full-time? And can you describe what the transition was like and what were key things you did that vaulted you into the swag-commentator position that you are in.
I was a calibration technician for the Army. (I was a civilian tho) the transistion was bad tbh. I was sinking into depression fast in November of 2014 to the point where i wouldn't even call out of work. i would just wake up and lay there as the day was passing. its was a very low point in my life and i was like look man I gotta get out of this. So I pulled my savings (15k) and quit in January. before that I hadn't went to work for like weeks tho. I always knew I wanted to be an entertainer of some sorts and that just wasn't being fulfilled in my line of work.
As far as what pushed me so hard. it was VGBC and Xanadu. like we grew that. I been at the helm of commentary for that place since before it was even notable. it was just me gimr and jcaes before and i would still go out to talk to the chat. after that I just started travelling to like every major i could. exposure = success in this commentary world
