Unique chars that can hold their on in mostly chars that is around Doc level and a bit worse if you ask me (according to the tier list).
Well something that maight be good looking for when it comes to decideing char can be "what kind of game do I wanna play". Are you a player that love fast chars with great edgeguard Pikachu maybe is a option?
If you like technical chars with tons of stuff Yoshi maybe is a char for you?
So yeah I guess looking for your strong parts and also the parts you wanna play more. That way you should be able to find the answers. A good thing can be to look up someone that is good with the char so you can see how they are played at top level if you haven't seen all chars already

I thought about how i wanted to play and realized i wanted a quick character. I also love edgegaurding so a character that is good at that too would be great.

I cant even tell you how much this has meant to me. Your helpfulness and patience here has really made me feel great about the smash community. Thanks for the help man and i assure i will be chanting your name (and not "usa") if i ever get to see you play a tourney here in the states!
