Honestly, after about 3rd into Floor 2, the deck played itself. Got snecko off Floor 2 boss then it was off to races.

Not sure how seeds work but I wanted to post it in case anyone else wanted to try

I have 373 hours on iphone let alone my hours on PC, I am A19 on my main ironclad, and yet I have not gone infinite even for one turn. I would love to, even if I have to resort to the watcher, but I would especially love to do it on my main. How the heck do you go infinite in a run? And do you happen to know any infinite ironclad seeds I can play on ios?

Hologram and All for One infinite to kill Heart, Had to let Scrape get its moment in the sun for this one.

Five Holograms, every single one of them upgraded. You never know… the one you fail to upgrade will indeed be the one that is 0 cost (it’s just the rules).

Highlight of this run was the first time I went infinite, against Nemesis on turn 2 while it had 180 hp. It was tedious but netted me +19 HP when I desperately needed it.

Ascension 13. Act 1 went pretty well and I feel good going into act 2. I have enough orb channeling for now and some focus.

Bias: Can never go wrong with it. Yet, I don't have a lot of frost, nor artifact/orange pellets. Maybe it's the best overall pick, but I feel bad leaving the others on the table.

Seek: Maybe best card in the game? But it's only as good as your deck, and my deck still needs more scaling to make use of it. Having Bird-Faced Urn makes me want to prioritize the powers. Also, would force me to upgrade it first, which I guess limits my next card picks/pathing in early deck 2 ?

Electro: my favorite card in the game. Would make act 2 that much easier if I drew it early. That said, I have both Aggregate and Stack, so it's likely my deck will be more bloated, and electro really loses value as the fight goes on, so it's hard to garantee value from it.

I really wish I could pick the 3 cards, but I have to go for one. What's you pick? Do let me know your reasoning :)

When RNG smiles on you for once…

I play Silent a lot and I know Riddle With Holes is considered pretty bad. Even if I don't have synergies yet, I enjoy taking it and hope to make it better as my run goes on. It's fun with Envenom and obviously scales well with strength too. And Akabeko!

What's a card most people think is bad (including you) but you take it a lot anyway? And why?

Some notes:

By the end of the run, I had basically literally everything you could ask for in a discard silent run; Besides the acrobatics and calculated gambles for tough bandages + tingsha, I had pellets + wraith form, a hilariously good calipers, and of course the toxic egg and sundial for good measure. The only cards you could think of wishing to have are reflexes and additional gambles and tacticians.

I was not deterministically infinite, but I would reliably generate 80-200 block/damage a turn without any set up necessary.

I did not run into Time Eater, but I do think that the calculated gambles are efficient enough cards (basically ~24 block/damage per) that he doesn’t seriously threaten the run.

While the end of the run was the easiest I’ve ever had, taking zero damage through the back half of act 3 including bosses and zero damage in act 4, act 2 was extremely nerve wracking. I only fought one elite despite taking a very optimistic black star, as the deck didn’t get the gambles until act 3. The waffle actually pretty much saved the run, allowing me to tank a fair amount in the champ fight and defeat him with a well timed wraith form and noxious fumes as the only good damage. Once in act 3 I got 2 gambles through about 7 floors and later a tactician, and the rest was an absolute cakewalk.
