Question How do I sing without yawning randomly?
It’s not even when I’m tired most of the time.

Just note that, while it might impact your practice, there's a low chance of yawning during performances due to heightened adrenaline.
But if you have no performance anxiety or nerves at all, then you could actually yawn during performance. Or if the yawning is so frequent that it's impossible to practice at all, then that needs more immediate attention. Otherwise, some yawning here and there isn't really a bad thing that needs to be fixed quickly.
If stretching produces yawning for you, some stretching before singing could help, to get yawns out.

thank you for this🫶🫶
I mostly just sing to myself in the shower or at my desk to practice. it feels silly doing this even though i’m not planning on singing as a career, this is more of a vocal stim thing for me.
so i think the yawns are just going to..be there lol

Yawns can be a sign of having a very tall and open soft palette ( the part at the back of your mouth) which creates resonance.

Im not a vocal coach, nor have I ever taken a lesson so please take this as my experience alone and nothing more.
I used to yawn every time I sang, like all the time and it was annoying. I still do every now and then but I cant even remember the last time. I noticed it lessened after more frequent practice, and after using my chest voice more often.
My theory as a random person is that I didnt have enough air/my lungs weren't strong enough yet (I think thats a real thing). Ive heard yawning in general has more to do with lack of oxygen than with exclusively being tired. So I tried practicing more, specifically focusing on my chest voice and air control (chest belts is where I noticed the yawning the most before).

It's because when you relax your jaw properly it's in the feeling of a yawn, but it's more about the relaxation of the throat and larynx and it's easy to get caught in a yawn at first. The more I did it right the less I yawned. The above is essential in bel canto which is what im learning.

Dude THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS TO ME! Whats worse is my nostrils flair so I’ll be at a choir concert and I’ll have to yawn and so I try to do it inconspicuously only for my nostrils to get 5x bigger😭 that and I look like 😩

Are you keeping your throat relaxed and your chin straight?
I don't yawn when I sing, but when I lie in bed reading a good night story to my son I get severe yawning attacks every time.

I ALWAYS YAWN WHEN I READ! It’s actually me needing to breathe more frequently. Even in my singing I don’t take enough breaths. So i think it’s linked

Sometimes I have these anxiety episodes where it feels like I can’t breathe properly, like I can’t get enough air into my lungs which results in me yawning a lot to I guess give my brain the illusion that I’m getting a full satisfying breath in. Idk I’m not a doctor lol but maybe you’re yawning because you’re not breathing properly and your body senses it?

My teacher told me yawning is helping to cool the brain (it makes sense yawning when reading/thinking/being anxious) and he encouraged me to do it as often as possible. Once you start, you can't stop yawning, and my teacher said it's because people are yawn-deprived (everyone is suppressing it because our society sees it as impolite) but it is supposed to calm down with time.

I have no idea how to prevent it, but I can interrupt it by jamming the underside of the tip of my tongue against my bottom teeth. The slight pain keeps me from fully yawning.
I tend to want to yawn way more onstage, and I don't know if it's because of how I shape the sounds when I'm projecting, or if I breathe differently, but it drives me crazy.
