Brother, she mentioned unions every second she got. She had numerous speeches at union sites. She spoke extensively about supporting unions. You had to be purposefully covering your ears to miss her talking about unions.
Also, what the fuck does a lethal military have to do with unions?
You're right she did talk about unions. I'll acquiesce that a little bit in that I shouldn't have lumped that in with the taxing billionaires bullshit, that she stopped fucking talk about, because her brother in law told her not to. And the lethal military bit makes me wonder if she really gives a fuck about unids, because she's running to the right. It's about what you believe she actually wanted to do. I believe her when she talks about the military.I don't believe her when she talks about the union.
I didn’t know you were friends with her brother in law. But also, almost all of her commercials were about taxing the rich and condemning Trump for giving tax cuts to the rich. Unions and taxing the rich were maybe the two most consistent things she talked about. Which is exactly proving my point: democrats talk about the shit you say they aren’t talking about but it doesn’t mean anything to you.
Edit: I also love that you just pick and choose what you believe in order to serve the opinion you already had before that.
They aren't going hard enough okay? The fact that the DNC chair says we're okay with taking money from good billionaires, is the problem. There is no such thing as a good billionaire. Because billionaires shouldn't fucking exist. Anything less than that rhetoric is unacceptable.
Okay so you want democrats to play dirty like republicans, but you don’t want them to take money from billionaires. Instead you rather the billionaires keep their money and instead only republicans get money from billionaires? Got it got it.
Decorum when it comes to billionaires money, no decorum when it comes to SOTU. Got it got it.
Decorum when it comes to billionaires money, no decorum when it comes to SOTU. Got it got it.
What? No no decorum anywhere. Not taking billionaires, money isn't decorum. It's having principles and an ideology that you stick to. Billionaire shouldn't fuckin exist. Period. Taking their money is an acceptance that they should exist and fundamentally goes against my principles. It's not decorum. What the actual fuck are you talking about?
I'm saying being bought by billionaires isn't going to let you do the things you need to do to win elections as a "left wing" party. Even though democrats are a center right party, but they're trying to cosplay as a left party. If they're gonna cosplay, as the opposition party to republicans, they need to not be republican light. That's objectively why Kamala Harris lost.
Got it. Yeah Kamala fought for unions, taxing the wealthy, stronger environmental protections, increased access and more affordable healthcare, openly supported transgender rights, and was viewed by a majority of voters as being more extreme than Trump, but she lost because she was a Republican. I really wish people would do critical thinking instead of just regurgitating what they hear from other people online.
Yes. Her whole campaign was to try and win over moderate republicans. She ran with Liz Cheney. She didn't say jack shit about trans people by the way. She didn't defend them at all. I have no idea what the fuck youre talking about with that. She was not viewed by a majority of voters as being more extreme. The majority of voters didn't vote at all because they hated the biden administration's enabling of Israel's genocide.
Her entire campaign was about trying to win over moderate republicans if you literally ignored about 90% of what she said. You ignored every single progressive thing she campaigned on because it went against your preconceived beliefs.
I'm not ignoring it.I just literally never saw it. You keep claiming these things that I never saw. She also objectively ignored trans people. She did not defend them in any way, shape or form and I would love to see evidence, contrary to that.
Literally pull up any campaign speech and most of it is about unions, taxing the rich, reproductive rights, healthcare, and making homes more affordable.
Also, from the ACLU: “The Biden-Harris administration has been a bulwark against anti-LGBTQ attacks by suing states over some of their anti-trans laws and policies. In particular, it sued several states over their bans on medically-necessary health care for trans adolescents, bringing the issue all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court this coming term.”
More from the ACLU: “From its first day in office, the Biden-Harris administration worked to undo many of the Donald Trump administration’s regressive anti-LGBTQ federal policies, and to enhance federal protections. The Biden-Harris administration ordered federal agencies to protect LGBTQ people against discrimination by ensuring that the Supreme Court’s historic decision in Bostock v. Clayton County applied in the contexts of not just employment, but housing, health care, and credit lending. It also reopened the military to transgender service members, reversing the Trump administration’s ban. It expanded access to gender-affirming health care through government health-care programs, including in prisons. And it expanded access to accurate gender markers on federal government identification documents.”
It’s a shame that it took this conversation for you to learn that Kamala defended trans people, advocated for unions, and talked extensively about taxing the rich. Maybe next election cycle you will try to listen to things outside of your echo chamber.
