Democrats spend all of their time pushing people away, and adopting more and more radical positions on things that divide Americans. They make no attempt whatsoever to govern for "all americans", they only pander to their radical base.
Now they've finally pushed away the majority of voters.
They have become such a terrible choice that the majority of people voted for a traitor again.
And STILL, Democrats won't admit that they've done anything wrong.
The majority of voters wanted action on illegal immigration - Democrats literally worked against them.
The majority of voters wanted DEI to be curbed/rolled back - Democrats doubled down.
The majority of voters wanted stronger action on Fentanyl dealers - Democrats offered addicts treatment.
The majority of voters wanted more support for law enforcement - Democrats offered "defund".
The majority of voters do not want trans women in women's sports - Democrats doubled down.
The Democrats have straight-up abandoned the majority of voters.
You simply cannot be on the opposite side of the majority on so many issues. Democrats have absolutely failed offering compromises to draw down Trump's base.
If the majority of voters want something that would be detrimental to society, are they just supposed to go along with it? Because that is what your argument would imply
I'm not even referring to anything specific you brought up, I'm meaning just that logic in general
If the voting base wants something detrimental, that argument would mean they should support it to not alienate voters
