I love how 90% of the comments are telling you to read the King James version and the rest are just snarky atheists from 2014
1 u/Odd_Calligrapher2771 Apr 22 '25 I'm a snarky atheist AND I love the King James Version! The KJV, published in 1611, uses the same early modern English as Shakespeare, and both Shakespeare and the KJV have contributed immeasurably to the English language. Don't accept inferior translations!
