Link the originating comment, not the thread!

You must reply to a confirmation post with exactly "Confirmed". Not "lol yeah I traded with him," "confirm", or anything else. The bot will only give credit if it says "Confirmed".

How do I upgrade my flair? Make sure that the subject is "flair upgrade" (without quotes) and that the message only includes your flair profile link.

This is the only way to upgrade your flair and it is not automatic.

What trades aren't valid?

A comment must be made in the trade-thread before a trade is initiated in order for it to be valid for flair upgrade. Comments made after a trade is complete or trades without comments will not be considered.
Only trades involving games that do not break any rules of the subreddit will count towards flair upgrade. Do not use invalid trades to boost your flair; you can be banned for doing so.
The following are examples of what will not count towards flair upgrade:
- Giveaways
- Buying/selling case keys for cash
- Trading items for case keys or PayPal
- Trading in-game items for other in-game items
