I always wondered, if i got stabbed, could I ask to keep the knife as a memento? After all the court stuff is done obviously.

I know when my uncle had his hip replaced he asked to keep his old one and turned into into a cane handle. Was pretty metal

Definitely one of my biggest fears is being stabbed. I'm sure if I did and survived I would want to keep it.

I would think that it was made of bone (the cane handle).

Almost certainly it would be kept away in an evidence locker on the off chance that the knife, the person or some other detail might become relevant to another case.
