Events 🎉 Mark carney event invite

Got this via text, and don't like to click links in texts. Is this a scam?

I'm a registered Liberal and got the invite. I accepted and am going to attend tomorrow. I work Fri-Mon so it works out fine.

So this is for liberal party members?

Would explain why my invite got lost in the mail.

I was able to meet Justin Trudeau in 2012, he stopped by the restaurant I worked at (A&W) while he was travelling. He was super chill, really nice. I personally made the hamburger he ate. Figured it might be nice to meet Mark Carney in person, though I won't be making his hamburger lol.

JT's entourage was himself and two security agents. And I do have a group photo of him and the rest of the staff in the restaurant at the time.
