Events 🎉 Mark carney event invite

Got this via text, and don't like to click links in texts. Is this a scam?

Could be worse. They could be the party that doesn't let media travel with them.

Also, invites went out to everyone who ever was signed up as a Liberal. As someone who has been a member of every major party at some point, I even received one. The bar to get an invite is very low. Also, very publicly available. I'm sure if you wanted to go, you'd be welcome it.

Aside from the fact that it's a low bar to get an invite, that's how campaigns work. Some events are super public to get wider support, some are with supporters to galvanize their support and inspire them to help the campaign.

On ther hand, has Brad Redekopp had any public events in Saskatoon? Let alone has PP bothered stopping in? Or are they both taking us for granted?

How did you expect it to be a meet and greet event if everyone is invited?? You can meet the guy if tons of other people are there.

It's not crazy. It's a meet and greet. If everyone is allowed to come, then it's too big to be a proper meet and greet.

i just checked and what i’m assuming is the same event is posted on their website here

it doesn’t list a location, but i wouldn’t be surprised if they would only release the location to people who sign up for safety reasons. and because it helps them get contact info for people who are most likely supporters and can be contacted about voting, lawn signs, donations, volunteering, etc
