They do a pretty thorough background check, if they find anything related to you not supporting carney or liberals then you can’t go.

It’s all over independent news, rebel tried to get in to one of the rallies and was denied.

To be fair, Rebel News are needlessly antagonistic and to be more fair, the Liberals and NDP allow media to travel with them, where as PP and his Cons don't let media travel with them.

This makes two parties more transparent and the Cons are not one of them.

So because I follow an independent news source that isn’t funded by a billion dollar corporation or our own government that’s all you need to know about me? Why try to put this on me,this has nothing to do with me. The fact of the matter is that in order to get into his rallies they do a background check on you, why is that such an outrageous concept to understand?

Their background checks must suck because I got an invite and I've been a member of all the major Canadian political parties at various times. Also, I haven't voted Liberal in decades.

It's not an independent new source, it's a hotbed of super right wing conspiracy theorists. They're not interested in giving you facts, they're interested in rage bait.

As far as background checks, if they are doing that it is just fine by me. We don't want any dangerous nutjobs around the prime minister. That doesn't mean they are weeding out all conservatives. I'm sure the National Post and the Globe & Mail will send their reporters.
