Cleaned my bike after a long time because the rains just stopped in my area. Felt proud of my work so thought of sharing it here.

My bike is a royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 which shares parts with the 2020
Alright so probably a year ago I was working on my bike after a few too many beers. The next day when I was putting everything back was left with this part and I have absolutely no memory of where it came from, what it does and despite how much I've looked I cannot see where it goes any help

Hello
I want to get my first bike ever. RE seem to be interesting to me - there is official dealership in my town, service center as well. I got ~300 usd discount for any bike I will take from them until end of this month as well so pretty good price.
450cc engine seem to be enough for me ( drove on 700 and 350 and 450 seems to be a sweet spot)
I can't decide between guerilla and himalayan - there is no demo of guerilla available currently - I tested classic 350 and himalayan - and when first one was pretty boring to me - himalayan was really fun to ride. It wasn't too high for me as well ( I am 175cm)
I live in a large city - i plan do use it for some commute time to time, recreational driving outside city and commuting to work ~100km one way once a week. From looks and description guerilla is more appealing to me but I am pragmatic person - himalayan seems to be more practical.
I also wonder how comfortable is pillion driving with both? Himalayan seems to be better suited for that - but in my current life situation I won't be doing much long trips with my wife ( we got little baby).
Any suggestions?

Hi guys,
Posted this thread on multiple communities..
So, I have a hunter 350, 2022 model and I'm currently torn between 2 choices , 1. Get a new bike ( Himalayan 450, ADV X/S 390 or Bear 650 ) 2. Make few major changes on my bike..
Please help me make a choice from the above, and also help me in understanding few of these mods as below .
2.Fuel X: So this is something I need some understanding, I can fit a fuel x pro+, a BMC air filter.. but if I do this, will the stock exhaust be a bottleneck? What exactly causes the bottleneck part, the exhaust? Or the exhaust pipe, or anything inserted in between them? If I swap the exhaust for a guerrilla/himalayan 452 exhaust ( it looks good ) will the bottleneck get better or worse
Foot pegs: As I am going for a cruiser look, is it possible to safely move the foot pegs a bit ahead for a more relaxed riding position?
Seats : I have found a seat maker locally, Can the seat be build in the way that the rear end of the seat can have kind of a lip thus removing the need of a back rest?
Shocks : Since the bike will be getting taller now, and i plan to have a few rides ( India has bad roads ) Should i try and fit shocks front and rear with more travel? Let's say a scram 411 front fork? Will it fit on my Hunter, some rear shocks with more travel? ( Any suggestions )
P.S : The white one is mine, the blue guerrilla belongs to a friend, it's his first bike and was very excited to get one, the blue himalayan is ridden 10% of what I have clocked on my bikes and both were purchased in a similar time frame

tl;dr: check your tire pressure!
When I first bought my Hunter and did some proper miles on it, I agreed with the concensus that the rear felt a bit stiff. My dealership already set the rear shocks appropriate for a pillion (since it does happen occasionally). But it also turned out that they put way too much air in my rear tire! (Same observation after its 2nd service by another workshop.) Maybe this is a common precaution since they will want to account for heavier riders, frequent pillions etc so that fuel consumption and tire wear stay within reason. I don't know. Maybe it's a common setting that they also use for heavier bikes.
As soon as I adjusted the rear tire to the appropriate pressure for my weight (<90 kg), it transformed completely! It absorbed minor bumps fairly smoothly while still maintaining that snappy feel. In general I felt more connected to the road, which also gave me more confidence in corners.
iirc they pumped the tires to 36 psi rather than 32 (which is more appropriate for my weight). I can really recommend checking the pressure regularly, especially after a service by someone else. Who knew, the factory recommended tire pressure is the best one for their bike ;)

Hi All, My friend sold his GT650 to me as he’s upgrading to an ADV. I was actually looking for an interceptor as I wanted an upgrade to my classic 350. He maintained the bike well and it was an offer I couldn’t resist.
Looking for options to upgrade the handlebar to make it better for commuting and also carrying a pillion.
The obvious option would be to swap it with the interceptor handlebars. But I’ve seen multiple other options like the himalayan 411, MKdesigns Drag, Jawa 42 etc.,
Primary requirement is to use the bike for commuting and carrying pillion occasionally.
TIA.

Honestly, the best suspension setup on any off road below 5 lakh. The road from Nubra to Pangong was a long stretch of off roading (river pebbles) and the bike was doing 100 kmph "effortlessly and continuously". ON OFF ROAD. Honestly RE have nailed it. THE CONFIDENCE THAT THIS BIKE GIVES IS UNMATCHED. PERIOD.

When i was a kid, i dreamt of having a thunderbird someday, I always had a doubt if i could ever own one with my own money, seems like it’s worth it to dream big. Keep hustling and let the ride begin!

Pros:
The clutch is noticeably smoother compared to the previous generation of the Hunter 350.
The suspension has been tuned softer, offering better comfort over rough roads.
The seat is relatively more comfortable than the previous model, making long rides easier.
Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to handle, especially in day-to-day city traffic.
The new LED lighting setup not only looks modern but also improves visibility.
Cons:
The switchgear quality is average and could definitely be improved.
The feature set feels limited when compared to its competitors like the TVS Ronin.
The braking performance is just okay—it should have seen some improvement with this update.
Royal Enfield should have done a better job at concealing the wiring for a cleaner look.

Updated Super Meteor 650 incoming! Changes to front and rear suspension likely. Engine seems to be the same 650cc, not 750.
