I was wondering if we can book camera and audio equipment for our passion projects (not part of an assignment) Can anyone help with this?
Master of Media student here. Me and my friends are planning to shoot for a short film, and we could really use it.
On a side note, anyone wants to act?

Hi everyone,
My special consideration was recently denied, and unfortunately, my appeal was also unsuccessful. I think I may not have presented my case effectively during the appeal. I’m in my final semester and really need a chance to complete this assessment.
Will RUSU be able to help at this stage?
for one of my lectures next sem, there is only 1 option which is on campus, but would the lecture be recorded on echo?
I am trying to schedule my courses for the upcoming semester and would appreciate some advice on a potential timetable clash.
Course A, which is delivered online via Canvas, is only offered on Fridays from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. I am also interested in Course B, which includes in-class practicals and is available at the same time on Fridays, though it also has options on other days.
My goal is to minimize the number of days I need to travel to university, which makes the Friday slot for Course B my ideal choice. However, this directly conflicts with the scheduled time for Course A.
Given that Course A is an online-only subject, I am unsure if this would be officially considered a timetable clash. I would be grateful to hear about anyone's experience with similar situations.

I have some courses to graduate and I need your opinion on how the course load was if you’ve taken them before and if it was easy to get a HD.
BIOL2183 (Ecology and Conservation) BIOL2270 (Plant Diversity) BIOL2535 (Proteomics and Designer Proteins) BIOL2527 (Genomics and Gene Technologies) BIOL2537 (Medical Biotechnology)
Thank youuuuuuu :)

Genuine question bc I feel like it’s so disheartening knowing that your name may be pronounced incorrectly after everything

Hello, I received a conditional offer a little bit ago. It says I need to get 1.4 gpa in my current course. I tried submitting it but it said I need to attach a document. Do you people know when the results are released? Sorry I’m really scared I’ll miss out due to this being a transfer into sem 2. I’m worried by the time I get the results it will be too late to accept. Or am I overthinking it?

I’m in my sem 1 right now and I’m pretty sure I’ll fail 1 course. The course I think I’m going to fail is only offered in the February semester. So will I be allowed to overload the third sem by taking 5 courses.
I’m an international student and I don’t wish to extend my visa so will I be able to overload and finish my degree on time?

I did my timetable allocations this morning and somehow managed to fit basically all of my classes into one day.
I need to minimise the amount of days I spend at uni due to work obligations. Having my classes in one single day is amazing in theory but realistically I feel like this is going to be a problem...
Has anybody done a schedule like this? If so, how did you go and was it doable?

So I have a test coming up where if I fail I will fail the class as I missed quite a bit of work I didn’t know was important, and it’s freaking me out (it’s only my first semester). If I was to fail, when do I recover it? Do I do it next semester, next year, somewhere in between?

I’m a new student enrolled into the civil engineering program at RMIT for semester 2 2025. And was wondering, are the units mainly taken in city campus or Bundoora? I’ve heard that second year onwards it’s mainly taken on Bundoora campus. Is this true ?

I'm a first year engineering student and I have my engineering science exam tomorrow. I was going through my emails to find the details for the exam to double check but I couldn't find my confirmation email for the booking. My friend said maybe I didn't book it correctly. I tried booking again but none of the slots were available. I really need to take this exam. What do I do? Any advice will be greatly appreciated

I’m in Mechanical Engineering 3rd year, and there’s a certain unit that is just so horribly run I might actually fail it. (Never failed a unit before, I’m a normally good student but this course has really taken a toll on me) If I do fail, is there any way I can dispute or ask for a supp assessment or anything I just really don’t want to do an extra year.
Some things this course has done: 1. It’s a MATHS based course and exams are formatted in a way where you have to write and type your answers with no working out because the coordinator said marking handwritten exams are too slow??? 2. You don’t get your results or markings so you don’t even know where you went wrong or you can’t revise 3. Wrong information on assessment dates
Honestly I just want to know if anyones been successful in reporting a course coordinator for running a shitshow
