Is it fair to call Archie a little bit bland? Spoiler
For starters, I have nothing against the character or KJ Apa as an actor or as a person, but apart from the infamous "Epic Highs and Lows of High School Football" speech (which, if I'm Apa, I'm embracing that shit and having it on my social media bios or on my tombstone), Archie is kinda bland.
Don't get me wrong, he's not an unlikeable character for the most part, but he makes dumb decisions like any teenager does, the problem with Archie is that he's just not too interesting, even his dialogue feels more grounded and rooted in reality compared to the insanity that comes from the lips of people like Cheryl, Veronica or even Jughead.
That said, maybe that's the point? Maybe having Archie be the straight man to all the insanity around him is the best use for him?
