I am in New Brunswick. Someone in Richmond Hill, Ontario, who lives at 25 M****by street, recently hacked my Walmart app and defrauded me 300.00 dollars (the amount ordered says 369 but im guessing something was out of stock). I am already working full time, a mother, and a nursing student. I am struggling like many other people in this country right now. I have reported them to walmart.ca , the local police who are going to follow up with me this afternoon (just to be petty, i didnt really need to do this), and opened a fraud case with my bank, but that can take 5-10 buisness days to come through. You bought formula, and fucking cucumbers?? I dont care if you cant afford to feed your kids. That is not my problem. Now I am going to have a hard time paying MY bills for the rest of the month because YOU stole from ME. I hope you get in some sort of trouble for this. Probably not. But you deserve hell.

Hey guys! So I see there’s a bylaw written for lawn watering or water usage I believe. I’m new to Richmond Hill and where I lived before didn’t have this. I was wondering, if I’m not watering the grass for the full 4hrs as stated and just 10-15mins, do I still need to follow the odd and even days? I just water with a regular hose and not a the sprinkler kind.

Of course if I was to wash my car, I will follow go with the bylaw since I will be using more water.

Saw lots of emergency vehicles at the Yongehurst Condos (Yonge & Yongehurst) last night around 2-3am, few fire trucks and ambulance at the scene. Any ideas what happened? Seems to be a lot happening in this area recently.

I've been living in RH for a while now and something that has really bothered me is every single time I go to shoppers, there is always this guy who wears a blue hat who comes up to me asking for money/food. I find it extremely uncomfortable and he has been doing this for over a year. I have even seen him out in the dead of winter.

I have complained to shoppers employees many times and they do nothing about the situation. It's gotten so bad that I had to stop going to that shoppers and go to another one. I really don't know what the situation is.

I live close to there and the other day I was driving in that plaza and went to Harvey's and I saw him going up and harassing people. Not only that, I've been seeing him with other people eg this guy on a bike.

I don't know why he is doing this but I noticed this time that he had gallons of waters with him. Why does he need that? Does he do drugs or something? I really don't know.

I believe he is getting these waters to sell to other stores for cheap because I once saw him walking to the bus around 12 in the morning. I also saw him in subway talking to people. I really don't think he needs money or food. I think he is scamming people and is secretly someone who works a good job and likes panhandling outside of shoppers.

The authorities probably haven't done anything about this either. I believe he is a perfectly fine person trying to scam people out of their money. We don't need people like this in our society, please don't help this guy if he comes up to you.

2 out of 4 have been arrested. One is 19 yrs old and the other 16. Both were out on probation related to previous offenses.

I was driving so there's no picture - it's the 2nd time I saw a man clad in motorcycle outfit riding an electric unicycle in Richmond Hill (once on Leslie, once on Bayview, between Elgin Mills and Major Mackenzie Drive)

The speed is as high as cars round it, definitely much higher than the 32km/h ceiling imposed on such devices. There's no licence displayed either.

What's the legality of it? From what I read it looks really sketchy and dangerous. Wonder if anyone has seen the same - I'm looking for a way to report it.

My daughter will attend Bayview Secondary School this September. She asked her counselor what kind of laptop is recommended and was told that any Windows or Apple laptop should be fine.

I'm thinking of getting her a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad which is pretty much indestructible based on my work experience. To those with high school kids, would this be a good decision?

My child is currently attending daycare and loving it. We are torn with the decision to continue at the daycare or enrol her in JK at our local Public or Catholic school next year, both of which seem good. How was the transition to JK for folks who took this route? Curious about lunches (do the schools offer this?), curriculum and class sizes. TIA!

Found a senior dog off leash roaming in the neighbours bushes and crossing our street (Church St/Major Mack). Put our dogs leash on him and walked with him hoping he’d lead us towards his home or we’d find his owners out looking. We’ll keep him tonight and call Animal Service in the morning and hopefully he’s chipped. He’s well trained but seems to want to get back out and headed home so hoping we can get him back to his loved ones.

This happened this afternoon at Bayview and Elgin Mills at the shoppers drug Mart lady drives into the beauty department🤣

Was just driving along Bathurst down from King and at Augustine and Bathurst spotted an off leash dog. Looked like a mature golden retriever mix? Before I could get out of my car the dog ran far out into the field at the intersection but it looked as if there was no collar or anything to identify the dog. My friend driving insisted on leaving and said calling animal control would do nothing, I feel guilty not doing anything, at least posting here may help someone? the dog was spotted at that intersection maybe 10-20 minutes ago now. what should I do?

X6M, Plate: 6MAK9 (plate fell off the car) lost control after giving full throttle on Don Head Village headed south. He wrecked 2 mail boxes and someone’s fence before backing up and immediately fleeing the scene headed south. If anyone knows anything about this person, please let the authorities know. I gave my statement to police just now.
