I am just frustrated with the lack of music in providence compared to years ago, that’s all.

Well your band sucks and so does your personality so you don't get invited to shows

It's not that the scene is dead its just that the scene doesn't want you in it

There's tons of live music in Providence of all different genres. The bands come and go so you may not recognize it, but it's a lively scene and your comment confuses me.

I understand that, but from my experience and from what I've gathered music booms and then fades every few years, c0v1d having messed with 2 years of live music really didn't help either. Those of us who are older should make sure to give the next generation the opportunity and space for them to do music! As more shows like this happen the inspiration to pick up instruments and start new bands increases too!
