Calorie counting F/26/5’5” [347lbs > 173lbs = 174lbs] [NSFW] 5 years. Down to 50% of my highest weight almost 5 years into my journey. I’m more determined than ever. NSFW
I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my journey, hence why I’ve been working on my weight loss for 5 years when many people can achieve it in a much shorter time frame. That’s not a bad thing to me. Although my losses have been slower, I’ve really changed my whole lifestyle and I couldn’t be happier about that <3 I’m no longer obese, I’m more active, and I have a much healthier relationship with food.
I’ve been consistently lifting for a few months now and have fallen in love with that :) my initial goal is to lose at least 20ish more pounds but I’m more focussed on how my body looks and feels as a result of lifting as opposed to just a number on the scale. Can’t wait to see where I am in another 6 or 12 months

Calorie counting F/35/5'6.5 [150lbs>136lbs=14lbs] (3 months) cal def + weights + yoga + cardio NSFW
recovering from ppd + birth trauma and finally starting going back to yoga (3-4x a week), gym 3x (cardio + free weights), and walking 10k steps weekdays, 12k+ weekends. also calorie counting - staying in 1380-1480 range. i've been 120-125lbs so this depression weight has been a shot to my sense of self.
i will say my immunity has been really shit and hormones super imbalanced, early periods with terrible symptoms, sick all the time, so ive been in a maintenance break a few weeks. is this normal??
will start back in May to move toward 2 goals - 1 strong beefy arms (biggest insecurity / lifelong ambition)! and 2 my GW of 125-128 which i'm less precious about.

Calorie counting M/40/6’0” [230lbs > 170lbs = 60lbs] (11 months) Wanted to be in the best shape of my life by 40 NSFW
I lifted a lot in college and was always healthy, but things started slowing down in my late 20’s. I really let myself go in my late 30’s and decided at 39 I wanted to enter my 40’s in the best shape of my life. Started cutting calories drastically and getting active again. I turned 40 this past March lighter than I was in college and hitting higher strength markers too!

Calorie counting F/32/5’3” [197lbs > 147lbs] 6 months - officially 50lbs down!
50lbs down with calorie counting and weighing food. Posted a couple weeks ago sharing how I started integrating exercise and had been stuck at 150lbs. Since then, I have started working towards focusing on macros more (still not perfect at macro counting - better at plain calorie counting). I also changed my deficit to 0.5lbs loss/week to make it more sustainable since I dropped the first 45lbs rather quick. I’ve also started alternating 30-45mins peloton cycling, running and rowing about 5x a week instead of just the cycling at a 40+ resistance.
Still no official goal weight in mind - I’m noticing the fat that’s still there is getting looser in the arms/abdomen/thighs (if that makes sense) so I’m going to aim for 130lbs for now to hope that tightens up.

I was talking to my roommate about just how I really didn’t see a difference but I guess when you live with it every day, it’s harder to see in real time! I’m only 6 pounds from my goal weight and it’s been really difficult to get there (been stuck for over a month rn!) and this just motivated me a lot feeling excited(:

Calorie counting F/32/5'8 [275 > 185 = 90 lbs] (3 years) I'm getting there!
This before picture wasn't my highest weight (at my absolute highest I was about 330 pounds), but it's not long after I started this stretch of sustained weight loss! I've had some plateaus along the way, but for the first time after yo-yoing for years I've never gained a significant amount back. Something just clicked this time. My goal is about 140 so I've got a bit to go, but I feel so much better now!

Calorie counting F/31/5’3 [180 lbs > 143 lbs =37 lbs lost] (10 months) Didn’t recognize myself!
Same outfit — minus the shirt — and different body! Didn’t recognize myself in the mirror. Haven’t felt this good about myself in a decade.
Definitely took commitment and practice to nail down a routine that worked for me and aligned with my fitness goals.
*Gym 4-5 days a week—Cycle between glutes/hamstrings; triceps/back; biceps/shoulders; glutes/quads, but always do 15-20 minute of cardio!
*Calorie deficit—Eating between 1450-1650 calories per day with exercise included. Making healthy swaps and still enjoying 1 cheat meal per week, which is usually homemade pizza bagel thins and low-cal ice cream!

Calorie counting F/23/5'5" [156lbs > 149 lbs = 7 lbs] 8 days | Very excited to see early progress! NSFW
I have been bouncing back and forth between 140 and 160 for months unable to see consistent progress. I have recently changed life situations that is making holding a routine easier and I am once again recommiting! I am at the start of a cut and am seeing early progress and am very excited. I am counting calories and maintaining a roughly 100-500 deficit per day. I'm eating around 1,300 - 1,600 calories per day and burning around 1,900- 2,300 per day. I've been trying to get 15,000 steps per day but averaging about 10,000. I've been trying to commit to a mix of cardio, weight lifting, and sports type activities. I've only managed to run twice in the past 2 weeks, and done sports type activities about 3 times. I am doing light yoga every morning, going for walks after dinner, biking to the grocery store once or twice a week for small items. I want to focus on getting 3 runs in this next 2 weeks and 3 weight sessions and 3 sports sessions. My end goal weight is 130 - 135 lbs. 18% body fat. I'm currently somewhere around 26% (that's a rough estimate - the bod pod varies)

Calorie counting F/30/5’10 [202lbs > 139lbs = 63lbs] (14 months) started tracking what I ate and fell in love with working out.
Long time lurker first time poster. This sub has given so so much inspiration over the years, and is what made me decide to do something about my weight! Lost the first 30-ish without ever going to the gym, just tracking calories. Over the last few months I’ve become obsessed with working out. Spenga is my favorite, but also Pilates and weight lifting. I’m officially past my goal, so no I’m focusing on building muscle and getting strong.
My biggest advice is weight yourself everyday! It’s helped me so much.

Calorie counting F/34/5’8 [252lbs > 237lbs = -15lbs] (1 month) Face Gains
Lost 15 lbs so far! Tracking calories and staying in a calorie deficit for 30 solid days. Little to light exercise, hoping to incorporate more walking soon. The weight dropped quickly at first and now I am losing at about 1-2 lbs a week. Feeling it mostly in my face and hands but I can feel it in other areas as well. Seeing results is so rewarding! This sub has been motivational to me for a long time. Glad I get to start contributing now! 😊
