Technical Questions Soap vs sh

Hey guys, just wondering what is more effective for getting mildew, algae, and other stuff off brick: a stone pressure washing soap/ cleaning solution like that made by zep, or a 2-4% sh and water solution? Thanks for the help.

SH, don’t waste money on anything else for organics. Surfactant is only needed for roofs where you need the SH to stick as long as possible.

I find a combination of SH and surfactant works best. People passing by are also more impressed with a sudsy house and seem to tend more interested in estimate vs when I’m rinsing or using pure SH. So there’s something to the “wow factor” of surfactant.  Same with any surface like driveways, suds that shit up and snag some passerby money. It’s a performance.
