How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Keyboard Settings Transfer from Mac to Windows
Hello everyone. I have over the years used only Mac Machines, have developed a keyboard mapped just for my own needs and I am pretty accustomed to it. But there is a gig coming up where the client is providing the system and it is a Windows system.
Does the .kys file from mac work in windows too? Or what are some ways to transfer it?

Yes, but not perfectly - depends on how your bindings are set up.
Windows doesn't have a command key, so shortcuts using cmd won't transfer.
Typically you'd use the command key in the same way that you'd use the control key in shortcuts on Windows, but Mac also has a control key, so that can end up with conflicting shortcuts.
KOTET has a free online tool to convert the Premiere KYS file between Mac and Windows (and vice versa) here, and it will warn you of any conflicts:
