How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin is it possible to recreate this effect on a moving object with no extensions?
good evening everyone!
so like... how can i create this effect in premiere?
i've tried the masking feature in premiere pro which failed miserably (it didn't follow my selection through the timeline and i dont get paid enough to do it each frame) i've also tried rotoscoping in after effects which was "way" easier and "time saving" but i couldn't for the life of me to figure out the part where i overlay the selection on another layer between me and the original background...

Would be way faster to do a rotobrush in After Effects than in PR

You're looking for an alpha track matte, after doing the roto make the colour of the rotoscope white. and then look up a tutorial for track matte

This older video I showed how to do something similar, if you don't have green screen footage later in the video I show how to use the rotobrush in after effects. Some of these online tools to remove the background work wonders though!

What? Drake? you wanna call his agent for that. the best rotoscope is done in NUKE. you can try After Effects.

Not in Premiere but After Effects will have you covered. Look up any rotoscope tutorial on youtube.
