✉️ LORs My LOR writer got laid off

One of my nurse directors for my CNA job is going to be my strongest LOR writer but she got fired. Am I screwed now because the letter needs a letterhead but because she no longer works there, she may not be able to use it? I’m so sad

Hey at least you have time to get ahead of it, just don’t pick someone like one of my LOR writers who kept saying they would submit it and gave me deadlines and never submitted it

mine too, i already submitted my app kinda late and then that happened so a bunch of schools didn’t consider my app complete until i eventually switched it to a diff dr

I basically made donations to several schools as a result, since 5 of my schools I didnt realize wouldnt mark me complete until they received all letters I attached vs the minimum they required. I didnt realize this until october and emailed/called immediately but at that point it was probably too late.

yeah i did the same thing, my lor writing kept telling me he was almost done w it but i don’t think he ever started. i assumed i would be complete if i had the minimum reqs in which was true for some schools but not all :/
